- What are the system requirements for MyWinLocker
Please refer to the "System Requirements and Warnings" section in this Online Help file.- I got the message "Please complete the system setup before using MyWinLocker. Click 'Next' to start the setup." when I try to use the software after installation. Why so?
You must set up the password before using MyWinLocker. Prior to using the software you must complete system initialization, which will define all required passwords. Please refer to section "System Setup and Administration" in the Online Help.- I got the message "System setup in progress. Please conduct this operation later." when I use the encryption function. Why is that?
The system cannot perform any encryption/decryption functions if the System Administration function is active. Please complete all System Administration functions before you use any encryption/decryption functions.File Encryption
- Why do I get a "Please select file(s) or folder(s) to encrypt or decrypt!" message when I click on the Encrypt button on Windows Explorer?
You need to specify the encryption/decryption target before you hit the Encrypt/Decrypt buttons.- I got the error "File encryption or decryption already in process. Please finish the previous operation first." when I run the file encryption function. Why?
The system will not proceed with another encryption/decryption run when there is an outstanding process still running.- How should I respond to the message "File already exists. Overwrite it?" at the end of file decryption?
The system recovers the original file name when it completes decryption. You will get this message if there is a file of the same name in the directory. Decide whether or not you want the subject file to be overwritten and respond accordingly.Yo-Safe
- The exact Yo-Safe capacity shown in the Windows Explorer is bigger than the size specified in the "Capacity Setting." Why so?
The real size of the Yo-Safe will be about 10MB larger than the size you specifies in the "Capacity Setting" dialog.- Why is the “Retry” button invalid when I’m prompted with the system error “File attribute update failed”?
This may happen when the Yo-Safe is forced to close in one of the following situations while files in the Yo-Safe are being accessed:
-- You manually forced the Yo-Safe to close
-- You logged off the computer or switched user
-- The computer went into sleep or hibernation modeError Code Table
